Debian Repository

Home... | English

Here you found some debianized and custom packages for Debian Sarge. The following lines need to be added for apt to your /etc/apt/sources.list file (click on section name to get the packages listing):

deb http://fiasko.dyndns.org/~thomas/debian/ stable backports kernel main webman2
deb-src http://fiasko.dyndns.org/~thomas/debian/ stable backports kernel main webman2

For the kernel packages from the kernel section also look at my Debian Kernel Repository.

There is also a section non-free - the packages there are not free (in term of DFSG) and therefore maybe NOT for public usage.

Section backports

linuxdcpp (0.0.1.cvs20051101-4-fiasko0) - Linux port of the famous dc++ client
Binary for 'i386' (1.0 MB) | Source dir

This package provides the linux port of the famous windows client dc++ for the P2P network Direct Connect.

This project uses the core dc++ with a rewritten GTK user interface, so most of all the killer features of dc++ are in it!

sl-modem-daemon (2.9.9d+e-pre2-4) - SmartLink software modem daemon
Binary for 'i386' (495.0 kB) | Source dir

The SmartLink modem daemon is the application part of the driver for recent modems produced by Smart Link Ltd.

This package replaces (along with hardware access drivers) the old driver generation (2.7.x) which consisted of kernel modules only.

It needs a kernel driver to access the hardware. This can be either recent ALSA (shipped with a newer kernel (>=2.6.4) with Alsa support and intel8x0m module) which is sufficient for basic operation and data/Internet connection, or the SmartLink kernel driver which is provided by separate packages which you can build using the source from the sl-modem-source package.

sl-modem-source (2.9.9d+e-pre2-4) - SmartLink software modem driver - module building source
Binary for 'i386' (212.6 kB) | Source dir

This package contains source code for the low-level drivers for the software modems produced by Smart Link Ltd. It supports PCI and USB models.

In addition to this package, you will need the package sl-modem-daemon which implements the application part of the driver.

Module packages can be built for the custom kernel package either by hand or using the module-assistant tool.

ircd-hybrid (1:7.0.3-3.ssl1) - high-performance secure IRC server
Binary for 'i386' (522.1 kB) | Source dir

ircd-hybrid is a stable, high-performance IRC server that features:

o (if enabled) SSL client support and server-to-server RSA encryption o Alternative connection methods like ziplinks (compressed) and lazylinks (efficient protocol where not all channels are synced in the initial burst) o Channel exceptions (+e) and invitation exceptions (+I) o New configuration file format o Halfops (+h) and anti-spam user mode +g o Dynamically loadable modules o Channel and nickname RESV's (reservations)

For more information on these, consult the hybrid7 documentation at http://ircd-hybrid.com/docs/.

It is also the IRC server of choice on the venerable EFnet, although EFnet also uses the Ratbox, ComStud, and the Hybrid v6.x ircds.

acpidump (20051111-0) - utilities to dump system's ACPI tables to an ASCII file
Binary for 'i386' (10.4 kB) | Source dir

This package contains a small collection of utilities ACPI system tables: * acpidump: to dump tables * acpixtract: to convert ASCII acpidump output to raw binary * acpitbl: to dump the table header or contents of a raw ACPI table

Note: Upstream package is called pmtools.

iasl (20060421-0) - Intel ASL compiler/decompiler
Binary for 'i386' (341.7 kB) | Source dir

iASL compiles ASL (ACPI Source Language) into AML (ACPI Machine Language). This AML is suitable for inclusion as a DSDT in sytem firmware. It also can disassemble AML, for debugging purposes.

This package overview was build on-the-fly through PHP apt-file parser.
