SETIqueue is a great SETI workunits queue programm. It is only aviable for Windows, but since version 2.2 it is possible to run on Linux using wine.
The package requires the xvfb package to run SETIqueue on bootup. xvfb provides an X server that can run on machines with no display hardware and no physical input devices. User interaction is possible via the integreted web server of SETIqueue running on port 5517. (For the first setup, you need a X server, but a remote one is enough.)
Setiqueue depends on a newer version of wine than Debian Woody
provides. wine from testing is right, you could grab it from
my Debian Repository
(section backports).
The package itself is found at my Debian Repository,
too - it resides in the non-free section since it contains already the
setiqueue.exe which is not GPL.
Notice: after launching setiqueue it takes some (longer) time until the internal web server/gui is aviable! It seems to be a (small) problem with CriticalSection handling, but only appears on startup so far.
Seti clients (running on other machines/os) have only to be set up to use setiqueue host as their proxy (using port 5517).
